Thanks for allowing us to postpone our Monday project premiere to celebrate with Anna Be!
And now, one of the most swoon-worthy projects yet; The Shutterfly guest book! We are absolutely in love with the idea of creating a Shutterfly photo book using shots from your engagement session or any photos of you as a couple for your guest book. It doesn't get any more personalized than that! In fact, the finished project below will be making its debut at our very own wedding, we love this project that much!!
Shutterfly has a plethora of styles and sizes to choose from. For this project we selected the digital scrapbook option (since we're scrapbookers already, this definitely appealed to our personal style!)
and selected the 12"x12" hardcover book
The next step in the process is to select the style of the book. These selections will run through the entire book but fear not, they can be adjusted at any time! We selected the Liorah font in charcoal and the edge type we chose was the black photo corner. At this time if you don't already have the photos you would like to use for this project uploaded to Shutterfly you'll be prompted to do so at this time
Once the style is selected, the next step is to select the title page. As you can see in the photo above, there is a column to the left with several tabs. The first tab is for the overall layout of the page in which the placement and text if any are selected. The second tab is for any additional background, which you'll see in the next step. And the third tab is for embellishments around the edges. This is the process for the digital scrapbook however there may be different selections depending on the type of book chosen
By flipping the page the remainder of the pages are filled in one at a time with any layout, background, and edge combination (beware, this is where you can spend lots and LOTS of time trying out endlesscombinations before you realize an entire afternoon has passed you by! lol)
Just to give a tiny glimpse into the options, we selected a green textured background and included a line of text
Once all the pages are designed, the final step is to create the cover work and voila! One stunning guest book coming right up! Not only will guests enjoy perusing a hardcover book of hand selected photos and leaving a personal message, the two of you will no doubt have this gorgeous book on display in your home to enjoy over and over again!!
Thank you! I definitely think this would turn out beautifully with photos from a normal digital camera. For the best quality book I would suggest choosing layouts that keep your photos at their normal size. Making them too large could make them look very pixelated. Other than that, I say go fot it! Let us know how it turns out!!

This is such a cute idea! We didn't have professional engagement photos done...do you think the quality of the pics would look ok with just normal digital camera pics?
