We're pretty crazy about magazines around here, wedding magazines in particular, and we have our fair share of back issues. But we also wanted to share some of our favorite places for out of the box inspiration. Innovative wedding design, especially when it comes to diy and adding your own personal style, can come from some of the most non wedding places. For example;
We already loved Vogue for fashion but really started to appreciate it even more after paying closer attention to props and decor used for their elaborate photo shoots. Next time you pick up an issue we think you'll be surprised to find how many different components you might not have noticed before because they're background items. Not to mention their amazing ability to use commonplace items in new ways that could definitely translate into a stylish diy wedding. Indoor furniture used outside...definitely a Vogue thing!
Interior Design magazine is one of our favorite places to look for innovative color combinations. The world of interior design is constantly evolving with fresh new ideas. Whether you're in the beginning stages of planning looking for your overall color palette or you're looking for accent colors for a diy project, we highly recommend picking up a copy!
Wallpaper is quirky and sassy...and we love it! In a nutshell this magazine is a culmination of "design, interiors, fashion, art, and lifestyle". A terrific place to get your fill of several key industries and the ideas and color palettes are endless. Definitely a must have for out of the box wedding inspiration!
We'd love to hear about any of your own out of the box resources for wedding inspiration as well so let us know!
I like all of your magazines. I'm a collecting different kinds of magazines. Thanks for the information.
