Lately we've seen some of the most charming ideas for weddings that not only reflect personal style but are also eco-friendly at the same time. Who's says being green can't be stylish as well right? Plus, the ideas we're featuring today are both easy and simple. What's not to love? Let's get started!
When we interviewed Sherry Petersik with YoungHouseLove for the special feature, Sherry Petersik Unveiled, she let us in on the sweetest eco-friendly favors she and her husband John designed for their wedding. Inside each small paper bag is a perennial bulb that guests can plant upon their return home. It was one of her favorite items because she still has friends comment about the flowers they're growing thanks to this clever gift.
And speaking of flowers, we found these absolutely delightful invitations from Botanical Paperworks. They're made with annual and perennial wildflower seeds pressed right into the paper! So after your wedding guests can simply plant their entire invitation in a pot of soil, cover with more soil, and with regular watering and plenty of sunshine they could be treated to any of the varieties below
There are TONS of great ways to use your wedding as a way to give back to the environment and we'd love to hear more so be sure to share your comments and ideas!!
Thanks for this eco-inspiring post! Making just a few eco-friendly choices for your wedding can make a big difference. For more eco-wedding ideas like these, you may wish to visit http://green-wedding.net
