What if we told you that we've located one of the best possible registries out there!? We're sure you'd want to learn more and thankfully that's what this weeks project is all about! Presenting...Honeyfund!
This free website allows you to create an entire honeymoon registry specifically tailored to meet your needs. How does it work? We'll show you!
Step 1: Visit Honeyfund.com and take part in their quick interactive tutorial. Here you'll learn what a Honeyfund is and how to set one up
Step 2: Set up your very own Honeyfund! After selecting your honeymoon destination add on individual items you may need; airfare, hotel accommodations, etc. Not to mention all the extra activities! And each listing gets its own image that you can select from a gallery of high quality photos
If you could use some ideas they have a list of sample registries for popular destinations. What about large ticket items you ask? Well, one of the great features is that Honeyfund allows you to split up the cost of large ticket items, such as airfare, into smaller pieces. For example, if the airfare to your destination was $500, you could list this as five $100 certificates, or ten $50 certificates.
Now for the details about how this all works. After you set up your list of items within your registry, you select which forms of payment you would like to receive and you can choose one or all of the following; cash at the wedding, check at the wedding, and PayPal (additional fees may be required through PayPal). Honeyfund will then keep track of which items guests have purchased for you. During a purchase your guests can choose to write you a special note to accompany their gift. It's then pulled from the registry list and you are notified that a purchase has been made and how it will be paid for; the guests will bring you cash or a check to the wedding, or there is payment in your PayPal account.
And there you have it, a simple way to register for the honeymoon of your dreams!!
